I'd rather like to shed some light on the topic of making money through online surveys.
Yes you can make money taking online surveys. But be very careful.
There are a lot of scams out there ready to steal your money.
Don't expect to get rich taking surveys. Instead consider it a
supplement to your regular earnings. At best you can usually make a
couple of dollars per survey.
How do you know if a site is a scam? Well, these are things to look for:
- Is the site offering huge pay for doing what is essentially next to nothing?
- Is the site asking you for an advance fee, i.e. asking you to pay them an upfront fee?
- Is the site asking you to sign up for some expensive services that you could get elsewhere for much less?
- Watch our for Multi-Level Marketing techniques that keeps everybody paying the company.
The above may be signs of a site trying to scam you.
How should you guard against being scammed?
- Visit the Better Business Bureau (BBB) website and see if the particular website has any complaints against it.
- Search online for the company, to see what people are saying.
What survey sites are known to be legitimate?
I don't know about http://cashcrate.com/ that lexdino is with. The BBB at least has nothing on them. Here are a few more that some have recommended...
